Gear gaiter frame for Mercedes-Benz W124 manual

Replace the retaining frame beneath a gear-lever gaiter. This black ASA frame is intended for manual-gearbox W124 cars; the gaiter and gear knob are separate parts.

What you receive

One gaiter retaining frame in black ASA.

Not included: Gaiter, gear knob, gear lever, console panel and fixings.

Model and fit

The design is based on a frame made for the Mercedes-Benz W124 with a manual gearbox; the designer reports test-fitting it in a 300CE. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

It is intended for manual-gearbox cars only. We have not yet checked whether the same frame is used across the saloon, coupé and estate versions.

Check before ordering

Manual gearbox only. Saloon, coupé and estate fit has not been confirmed. Printed scale and fixing details still need checking.

Compare your original frame and console before ordering. The printed size is still being checked against an original frame, as a similar design was reported to need a small scale adjustment when printed in ASA. If you are unsure, contact us with your car's model and body style, and clear photos of the gaiter area and the original frame (even if broken), so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The designer notes two dents in the console panel, so check the frame's orientation before fitting. Please contact us before ordering if you need to know which fixings are required. After fitting, check that the frame and gaiter do not interfere with gear-lever travel in any gear.

Material and finish

Black ASA. Fine layer lines are a normal part of a 3D-printed surface. The images are illustrative renders; they do not establish the final printed finish.
