Volvo S60 interior door handle upper-mount reinforcement (single)

This reinforcement piece is printed to order in tough PETG. It is not a complete door handle: it is intended to strengthen an interior door handle whose upper mount has broken, after the handle has been glued back together with epoxy. Epoxy is not included.

What you get

• One door handle reinforcement piece in tough PETG, black.
• Reinforcement only: the door handle, its cover, epoxy and any screws or other fixings are not included.
• The repair needs epoxy and trimming of the handle cover – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a reinforcement piece the designer made to repair the interior door handle of their Volvo S60, for the front driver or passenger door. The designer did not state the model year. We have not yet confirmed the fit on this model.

Check the fit

Compare your handle and the broken upper mount with the photos before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with your car model, its year and which door, and clear photos of the handle and the broken mount, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The designer's repair glues the broken handle back together with epoxy and then adds this piece to reinforce the upper mount. They advise scraping off the factory paint before applying epoxy, and the handle cover has to be trimmed to make room for the piece; both are permanent changes. Please message us before ordering if you need more detail.

An interior door handle must open the door reliably. Before driving, check from inside the car that the handle opens the door every time. If it does not, do not rely on the repair and have the handle replaced.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the reinforcement piece, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
