Volvo 240 door-latch trim pieces, driver and passenger side (pair)

This pair of replacement door-latch trim pieces is printed to order in heat- and UV-resistant ASA, with one piece for the driver's side and one for the passenger's side. They are intended to replace trim around the door latch that is missing or broken. They are trim pieces only – the separate spacer from the original design, the door panels and the latches are not included.

What you get

• Two door-latch trim pieces in heat- and UV-resistant ASA: one driver side and one passenger side.
• One pair is for one door on each side of the car; for all four doors you would need two packs.
• Trim pieces only: the separate spacer piece from the original design, door panels, latches and any screws, adhesive or other fixings are not included.

Intended for

The design is based on door-latch trim pieces made for the Volvo 240, which the designer describes as for the Volvo 200 Series and for all four doors. The designer notes that it uses a different mounting style from the factory trim. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

The two pieces are handed, because the cutout around the latch is not symmetrical, so each piece suits one side of the car. If your car is right-hand drive, or you are unsure which side you need, please message us before ordering. The designer also notes that some door panels may need a slightly larger or smaller piece. If you are unsure, message us with your car's model year and clear photos of the door latch area, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The trim is designed to be fitted without removing the door panel, by working the cutout carefully around the door latch; the latch may need to be eased gently towards you. It is held by a tight friction fit with no screws. After fitting, check that each door closes, latches fully and opens normally from inside and outside before driving, and that the trim does not touch the latch or striker.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Heat- and UV-resistant ASA is used for the trim pieces, printed in black. This may differ from the colour of your original. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
