Mercedes-Benz W123 centre-console ashtray replacement insert

This replacement ashtray insert is printed to order in heat- and UV-resistant ASA. It is intended for the space where the original ashtray sits, where the ashtray is missing or no longer wanted. It is the insert only – the separate cover plates from the original design, magnets and any electrical parts are not included.

• Insert only: the separate shallow and extended cover plates from the original design, the phone ledge, magnets, any 12 V outlet or USB module, wiring and fixings are not included.

Intended for

The design is based on an ashtray replacement made for the centre console of a Mercedes-Benz W123. The designer describes it as a modification for storage or accessories rather than a copy of the original ashtray. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

Compare the ashtray opening in your console with the photos before ordering. The cover plates are not included, so if you are unsure how the insert will suit your car, message us with your car model and year and clear photos of the ashtray opening, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

Fit the insert with the car parked and the ignition off. Make sure it sits securely and does not interfere with the gear lever or any other controls, and do not leave loose items in it that could move while driving. No electrical parts are supplied; if you plan to add a 12 V or USB socket, any wiring should be done by a competent person.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Heat- and UV-resistant ASA is used for the insert, printed in black. This may differ from the colour of your original. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
