Making a book
How much can I personalise?
The current preview supports their first name and a dedication. Character choices and other options are still in development.
Can I use a photo?
No photo is needed or collected in this preview.
Can I see every page?
You can see a sample passage with their name and your dedication. This is not a complete book or a print proof. Full page approval is still in development.
Can I save and come back later?
The starting name stays in this browser tab for the preview. Once added to the bag, the name and dedication stay with that item in your shopping session. There is no cross-device draft link yet.
What ages are the stories for?
Each story has its own suggested age band. Check the story page and sample to decide whether it feels right.
Books and delivery
Can I order a book now?
Books is a private preview and is not open for customer purchases. Adding a preview to a staff bag does not send anything to print.
When will my book arrive?
Production and delivery timings will be confirmed before Books opens for orders.
What size is the book?
Final specifications will be confirmed on each story page before launch. The current catalogue and artwork are illustrative.
Can I send a book as a gift?
Gifting is part of the planned experience. Packaging and delivery options will be confirmed before launch.
Changes and support
Can I change a name?
Change the name or dedication on the story page, preview it again and check the details before adding it. An item already in the bag keeps its saved details; remove it and add the corrected version.
How do I get help with an order?
Email orders@maydeforyou.com with your order reference. You can also use your account or the guest order lookup.
Is this a subscription?
The preview does not create a subscription or charge a payment.
Privacy and accessibility
Where does the name go?
The starting name is kept in this browser tab and is not put in a web address. If added to the bag, the details are stored with the item. The production data-retention policy will be confirmed before launch.
Can I use the preview without a mouse?
The fields, format choices and preview controls can be reached with the keyboard. The sample is also available as text for screen readers.
