Citroën 2CV heater-control slider guide

This replacement heater-control slider guide is printed to order in heat- and UV-resistant ASA. It is the slide guide for the heater control, and is intended to replace a guide that has broken. It is a guide only – the sheet-metal bracket it is mounted on and the rest of the heater control are not included.

What you get

• One replacement heater-control slider guide in heat- and UV-resistant ASA.
• Guide only: the sheet-metal bracket, the heater control lever and any other heater parts or fixings are not included.
• Fitting details are being confirmed – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a slider guide the designer made for a Citroën 2CV after the original broke, refining the dimensions with a test print. The 2CV variant and model year were not stated. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

Compare your original guide with the photos before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with your 2CV's model and year and clear photos of the heater control and the broken guide, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The designer notes that the guide is crimped onto a sheet-metal bracket and that changing it takes some patience. Please message us before ordering if you need to know more about fitting. After fitting, check that the heater control slides smoothly through its full travel and that nothing catches or comes loose, before driving.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Heat- and UV-resistant ASA is used for the slider guide, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.

Made to order

Each guide is printed after you order. See the delivery section for the current dispatch estimate and postage options.
