Model and fit

The design is based on clips made for the Ferplast Freerun Medium octagonal small-animal pen. The designer reports that the groove spacing matches the original clips. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check before ordering

Check the Medium octagonal pen variant and wire spacing. Physical fit and cable-tie requirements are not yet confirmed by MAYDE.

Compare your original clips and the wire of your grid panels before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with your pen model and size and clear photos of a panel join and an original clip, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The designer's clips are held in place with cable ties, which are not included. Please message us before ordering if you need to know how the clips go on or how many cable ties you will need.

After fitting, check that every join is firm and that there are no gaps an animal could squeeze through or get caught in. Check the clips regularly for wear or chewing, and replace any that are cracked or loose.

Material and finish

Black ASA. Fine layer lines are a normal part of a 3D-printed surface. The images are illustrative renders; they do not establish the final printed finish.
