Zoo Med terrarium front door latch lever (left and right set)

This set of two replacement front door latch levers is printed to order in tough PETG: one left-hand and one right-hand lever, mirrored for each side. They are levers only – not the terrarium, doors or hinge pins – and are intended to replace a latch lever that has snapped.

What you get

• Two replacement front door latch levers in tough PETG: one left and one right.
• Levers only: the terrarium, doors, hinge pins and any screws are not included.
• The lever keeps the door closed – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a door latch lever the designer made for their own Zoo Med terrarium. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

The designer did not say which size of terrarium it was made for, and the latch may differ between Zoo Med terrarium sizes and generations.

Check the fit

Compare your remaining latch lever, and the pivot it turns on, before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with your terrarium's size or model code if you know it, and clear photos of the door latch from the front and the side, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The latch lever holds the terrarium door closed. After fitting, check that the doors close and latch securely before putting any animals back in the enclosure, and check the latch regularly.

The designer suggests the lever's hub can be reinforced with a small M3 screw. No screws are included; please message us before ordering if you have questions about fitting.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the levers, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
