Fitting and water resistance

Reuse the original metal hinge pin if it is suitable. The source designer notes that one end of the pin is knurled, so take care when removing and refitting it. The replacement must move freely and hold the battery cover securely closed.

MAYDE has not verified water resistance with this replacement fitted. No waterproof rating is claimed for the repaired head torch.

Material and finish

Black PETG, printed and finished by MAYDE in Great Dunmow, Essex. Fine layer lines are normal on a 3D-printed part. The gallery contains illustrative CAD renders; colour and printed surface finish may differ.
