Yamaha turntable dust-cover hinge body (bottom)

This replacement dust-cover hinge body is printed to order in heat- and UV-resistant ASA. It is the bottom, plinth-side part of the hinge, intended to replace a broken original while you reuse the axle, piston and spring from your existing hinge.

What you get

• One bottom (plinth-side) dust-cover hinge body in black ASA.
• Hinge body only: the axle, piston, spring, other hinge parts, the dust cover and the turntable are not included.
• Some fitting work may be needed – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a hinge made for the Yamaha TT-S303 and TT-N503 / MusicCast VINYL 500 turntables. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

Compare your original hinge before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your turntable model and clear photos of the broken hinge from the side and from underneath, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The hinge body is designed to reuse the axle, piston and spring from your original hinge. The designer notes that the axle hole may need drilling out to suit your axle. Please contact us before ordering if you need more detail. After fitting, check that the dust cover opens and closes as intended before regular use.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Black ASA, which is heat- and UV-resistant, is used for the hinge body. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
