Volume wheel for Bang & Olufsen MCP 5500

This replacement volume wheel is printed to order in tough black PETG. It is intended to replace a cracked, scuffed or distorted volume wheel on a Bang & Olufsen BeoSystem 5500 Master Control Panel. It is the wheel only – the striped sensor label, bearing and panel are not included.

Intended for

The design is based on a volume knob made for the Bang & Olufsen BeoSystem 5500 Master Control Panel (MCP 5500). We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

The panel reads the volume wheel through a black and white striped label and an optical sensor. This wheel needs that label to work, and no label is included. Please check before ordering whether you can move the label from your original wheel, or contact us first.

If your volume control has stopped responding, the fault may not be the wheel: owners have also reported worn bearings and failed optical sensors on this panel. This part replaces the wheel only.

If you are unsure, send us a message with your panel's model and clear photos of the original wheel and its label, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

Fit the wheel carefully with the striped label in place, and check that the volume responds as intended before regular use.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the wheel. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
