Technics SL-D tonearm rest

This replacement tonearm rest is printed to order in heat- and UV-resistant ASA. It is the arm rest post only – your original arm clip is reused – and is intended to replace a broken rest post.

What you get

• One replacement tonearm rest post in heat- and UV-resistant ASA.
• Rest post only: the turntable, the tonearm and the arm clip are not included.

Intended for

The design is based on a tonearm rest made for Technics SL-D direct-drive turntables and reported for the SL-D1, SL-D2 and SL-D3. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

The designer made it for their own SL-D2 as a longer-shaft version of an earlier design for the SL-D202, so the SL-D202 is not the intended model. The designer's measurements were taken by eye, so small differences are possible.

Compare your original rest post before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your turntable model and clear photos of the broken rest and the arm clip, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The designer's version reuses the original arm clip and uses a length of paper-clip wire as the hinge pin. The clip and wire are not included. Please contact us before ordering if you need to know more about fitting.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Heat- and UV-resistant ASA is used for the rest post, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
