ELU / DeWalt combination table saw M8 adjustment and locking knob

This adjustment and locking knob is printed to order in tough PETG, with an M8 thread tapped into the printed plastic. It is intended to replace a knob that has been lost or damaged.

What you get

• One replacement adjustment and locking knob in tough PETG, with an M8 thread.
• Knob only: the saw, the threaded stud and any other knobs are not included. No metal thread insert is fitted.
• It is used on a power tool – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a knob made for the ELU TGS 171 and TGS 173 and the DeWalt D27107 and DW743N-QS combination table saws, and, the designer says, similar saws. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

We have not yet confirmed which knob position on the saw this design is for, so please compare it with the knob you need to replace, and check that the threaded stud is M8, before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with your saw model and clear photos of the old knob, or where it was fitted, and the threaded stud, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

Switch off and unplug the saw before fitting the knob, and tighten it by hand only. After fitting, check that the setting the knob adjusts or locks holds firmly before using the saw. Do not use the saw if the knob slips or its thread wears.

This is a control knob only; it is not a guard or blade part.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the knob, in black. The M8 thread is tapped directly into the plastic. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
