Dual CS 520 lower dust-cover hinge inserts (pair)

This pair of replacement lower dust-cover hinge inserts is printed to order in black ASA. They are the plinth-side inserts only – not complete hinges, springs or the dust cover – and are intended to replace a cracked hinge body that no longer supports the lid.

What you get

• Two replacement lower (plinth-side) hinge inserts in black ASA.
• Inserts only: the springs, upper hinge parts, dust cover, turntable and any fixings are not included.
• Your original springs and upper hinge parts are needed – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a hinge insert the designer made for their own Dual CS 520 after the original broke. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

This part has only been reported for the CS 520; other Dual models have not been checked.

Fitting

The designer reuses the original spring and upper hinge part with this insert, so you will need yours. Please contact us before ordering if you need to know which fixings are required. Check that the lid opens, holds and closes as intended before regular use.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex, in black ASA, a heat- and UV-resistant material. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
