Brother / Knitking knitting machine tension head mount

This replacement tension head (yarn mast) mount is printed to order in tough PETG. It is intended to replace a mount that has become brittle with age and snapped. It is the mount only – the tension head, mast and knitting machine are not included.

What you get

• Mount only: the tension head (yarn tension unit), mast, knitting machine and any screws or other fixings are not included.

Intended for

The design is based on a tension head mount the designer made to replace a snapped mount on their own Knitking / Brother knitting machine. The designer did not state the machine model. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Mast mounts are reported to differ between Brother machine families (for example KH-8xx and KH-9xx models), so please check yours before ordering.

Check the fit

Check your machine's model number and compare your original mount, even if broken, before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with the model number and clear photos of the tension head, mast and broken mount, so we can help identify what you need.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the mount, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
