Vectrex controller joystick shaft retainers (pack of 2)

This pack of two joystick shaft retainers is printed to order in tough PETG. When the original retainer wears, the stick can move up and down in its housing; the designer gave this version a deeper well to take up that play.

What you get

• Two replacement joystick shaft retainers in tough PETG.
• Retainers only: the controller, the joystick shaft and any springs, screws or other fixings are not included.
• The retainer sits inside the controller – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a joystick shaft retainer made for the Vectrex controller, and is reported for all Vectrex controllers. The designer made it for their own controller. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

If you can, compare the existing retainer inside your controller with the photos before ordering. If you are unsure, message us with clear photos of the joystick mechanism inside your controller, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The retainer sits inside the controller, so fitting it means opening the controller case. Check that the stick moves freely after fitting.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the retainers, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
