Bosch PBD 40 feed lever hub kit

This printed kit is made to order in tough PETG. It replaces the feed hand wheel with a three-spoke lever hub, and is an upgrade rather than a repair part. The metal spokes and hardware are not included.

What you get

• One printed kit in tough PETG: the lever hub, the spacer and three ball knobs.
• Printed parts only: the spoke tubes, threaded rods, M6 nuts, grub screw and the drill are not included.
• Hardware details are being confirmed – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a feed lever made for the Bosch PBD 40 bench drill, and the designer reports fitting it to their own PBD 40. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

Check the fit

Check that your drill is a PBD 40 and compare its feed hand wheel before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your drill model and clear photos of the feed hand wheel and where it mounts, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

The design uses aluminium tube and threaded rod for the spokes, with nuts and a grub screw. None of this hardware is included; please contact us before ordering if you need to know exactly which parts are required.

The lever carries the drilling feed force. Tighten the grub screw securely, check the hub is firm before each use, and stop using it if the hub, spoke sockets or knobs show cracks or movement.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the printed parts, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
