Sony WH-1000XM3 headband arm pair

This pair of replacement headband arms is printed to order in tough PETG. Each arm is a hinge piece made up of inside and outside halves, intended to replace an arm that has broken at the hinge.

What you get

• A pair of replacement headband arms (left and right) in tough PETG, each in inside and outside halves.
• Arms only: the headphones, headband, ear cups and screws are not included.
• The right-hand arm is the least certain part – see the fit notes below.

Intended for

The design is based on a headband arm made for the Sony WH-1000XM3. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

The designer modelled the left-side arm and notes that the right side is not quite a mirror image, so the fit of the right-hand arm is less certain. Other WH-1000X models have not been checked.

Check the fit

Compare both of your original arms before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your headphone model and clear photos of both arms, including the hinge area, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

Fitting requires taking the headphones apart, so please check you are comfortable doing this before ordering. Please contact us before ordering if you need to know which fixings are required.

The arms carry the headband's clamping force and flex each time the headphones are folded. Fold them gently, and stop using them if an arm shows cracks.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. Tough PETG is used for the arms, in black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.

Made to order

Each pair is printed after you order. See the delivery section for the current dispatch estimate and postage options.
