Apple III / III Plus built-in floppy drive door

This replacement drive door is printed to order in heat- and UV-resistant ASA. It is the door only and is intended to replace a built-in floppy drive door that has broken or gone missing.

What you get

• One replacement built-in floppy drive door in ASA, in black.
• Door only: the computer, the floppy drive and any springs, pins or screws are not included.
• Hinge details are being confirmed – see FITTING below.

Intended for

The design is based on a drive door made for the Apple III and Apple III Plus. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model.

The designer has not published a test statement for this part. It is supplied in black only.

Compare the drive opening and any remaining parts of your original door with the photos before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your computer model and clear photos of the drive opening and hinge points, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

Please contact us before ordering if you need to know how the door attaches or whether any parts from your original door are needed. Fit the door carefully and check it opens and closes as intended before regular use.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. ASA (heat- and UV-resistant) is used for the door. Colour: black. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.
