Battery compartment cover for Sony Walkman WM-F8 / WM-F9

This replacement battery compartment cover is printed to order in black ASA. It is intended to replace a lost or broken battery door on a Sony Walkman WM-F8 or WM-F9. It is the cover only – the player and batteries are not included.

What you get

• One replacement battery compartment cover in black ASA.
• Cover only: the cassette player, batteries and any other case parts are not included.

Intended for

The design is based on a battery cover made for the Sony Walkman WM-F8 and WM-F9. We have not yet confirmed the fit on each model. The designer has shared printing guidance but has not published a fit report.

Check the fit

Check your player's model number and compare the battery compartment before ordering. If you are unsure, send us a message with your Walkman's model number and clear photos of the battery compartment, and of any pieces of the old cover you still have, so we can help identify what you need.

Fitting

Fit the cover gently and check that it closes and stays in place before use.

Material & finish

Printed to order in our workshop in Great Dunmow, Essex. ASA, a heat- and UV-resistant material, is used for the battery cover. Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printed finish.

Made to order

Each cover is printed after you order. See the delivery section for the current dispatch estimate and postage options.
